Your whole portfolio, priced and explained.
Mia Invest reads the holdings you already keep in Mia Accounting — every ISA, SIPP and broker account — prices them against live market data, and turns the numbers into something you can actually read. No re-keying, no spreadsheet, no second copy of your portfolio to keep in step.
Four steps, none of them data entry.
Your holdings already exist in Mia Accounting. Mia Invest reads them where they are and adds the market layer on top.
1. Reads your holdings
Positions come straight from Mia Accounting — quantity, cost basis, currency and which wrapper they sit in. Nothing is copied across, so there's no second set of numbers to keep in step.
2. Matches them to tickers
Broker exports write symbols their own way. Mia Invest translates them to the market's convention — and where a holding genuinely can't be matched, it says so rather than guessing at the wrong security.
3. Prices them
Quotes and fundamentals are fetched and cached, so pages stay fast and the same price isn't paid for twice. Holdings with no market price — pensions, managed funds — fall back to your own valuation and still count in the totals.
4. Explains what it sees
Deterministic signals do the measuring — valuation, momentum, volatility, concentration. Claude turns them into plain English, with the reasoning shown rather than a score to take on trust.
Numbers first, words second.
The measuring is done by ordinary arithmetic that behaves the same way every time. The language model's job is to explain that arithmetic — never to invent it.
Deterministic signals
Valuation, momentum, volatility and concentration are computed from cached price history. Same inputs, same output, every time — and you can check the working.
Honest about gaps
Where a holding can't be priced or a symbol can't be matched, the app tells you which and why. A confident-looking number you can't trust is worse than an obvious blank.
Your data stays yours
Mia Invest runs on the same private database as the rest of the Mia family. Nothing is sold, shared, or used to train anything.
This is not financial advice
Mia Invest is an information tool. It describes investments you already hold and explains what the numbers say about them. It does not know your circumstances, your tax position, your goals or your capacity for loss, and it is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Nothing it produces is a personal recommendation or an offer to buy or sell. The value of investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you put in. Past performance does not predict future returns. If you want advice, speak to someone authorised to give it.
