This is the most important term on this page. Mia Invest provides information and insight about investments you already hold. It is not financial advice, not a personal recommendation, and not a regulated service. Voyage Manager Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing Mia Invest produces should be treated as a suggestion to buy, sell or hold any investment.
1. Who we are
Mia Invest is a product of Mia IP, operated by Voyage Manager Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 07365818), registered office 48 Gunhild Way, Cambridge CB1 8RB, United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Voyage Manager Ltd.
2. Using the service
You need a Mia account to use Mia Invest. That account is shared across the Mia family of applications. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it's been compromised.
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access data belonging to others, no interfering with its operation, and no automated scraping of the market data it displays.
3. What the service does and doesn't do
Mia Invest reads the holdings recorded in Mia Accounting, prices them where it can using third-party market data, computes quantitative signals, and generates written commentary with the help of a language model.
It does not execute trades, hold client money, custody assets, or arrange investments. It does not assess suitability, and it knows nothing about your circumstances, tax position, objectives or capacity for loss.
4. Accuracy and availability
Market data comes from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Prices are cached and may not reflect the current market. Some holdings cannot be priced at all and fall back to valuations recorded in Mia Accounting, which are only as current as you've made them.
Written commentary is generated by a language model and may contain errors or misinterpretations. Always check the underlying numbers before acting on anything you read here. We provide the service "as is" and don't guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Investment risk
The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in. Past performance does not predict future returns. Currency movements can increase or reduce returns on overseas holdings. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any investment decision you make, or for any loss arising from your use of Mia Invest, including losses caused by inaccurate market data or generated commentary. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Changes and termination
We may change these terms or the service itself. Continuing to use Mia Invest after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to accounts that breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
