Mia Invest is one of a set of applications that share a design, a sign-in, and a database.
What it's for
Mia Accounting already knows what you own — it tracks holdings, cost basis and valuations as part of keeping the books. What it doesn't do is tell you how those holdings are behaving in the market, or what the shape of the portfolio looks like as a whole.
Mia Invest is that layer. It reads the portfolio Mia Accounting maintains, prices it, and turns the result into something you can read in a couple of minutes rather than a spreadsheet you have to interrogate.
One account across every app
Mia apps share a single sign-in. The account you use for Mia Accounting is the account you use here — same email, same password, nothing extra to set up or remember. Changing your details in one place changes them everywhere.
How it's built
Mia Invest is an ASP.NET Core application on .NET 9, backed by SQL Server, with market data from a third-party provider and language-model work handled by Anthropic's Claude. It follows the same architecture and conventions as the rest of the family, which is why it looks and behaves like them.
